The iconic and prestigious €100,000 buy-in One Drop high roller tournament will return at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo festival, running from May 1-3, 2026.
PokerStars is thrilled to announce its partnership with the One Drop Foundation to help raise vital funds for global water access, as 3% of each €100,000 buy-in will be donated to the One Drop Foundation’s global safe water projects (with 1% covering baseline costs).
High-stakes poker legend and PokerStars Ambassador Jason Koon–number three on the all-time poker money list with over $70 million in live earnings–will play in the tournament, and it will be broadcast on PokerStars’ award-winning livestream.

ABOUT ONE DROP
Who could forget Antonio Esfandiari defeating Sam Trickett to win the maiden €1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop for €18.3 million back in 2012, or Fedor Holz taking down the €100K edition for just shy of €5 million during his epic 2016 run.
One Drop tournaments have provided superb poker action over the past two decades, but what you might not know is just how much money those events have raised, helping to provide access to safe water in vulnerable areas around the world.
More than $26 million has been raised by the One Drop Foundation and the poker community in that time, making a wide global impact for a sustainable future with safe water for all.

SAFE WATER AND SANITATION
One Drop Foundation, created by Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil and Lune Rouge, focuses on cultivating partnerships to provide access to safe water and sanitation and to facilitate the behaviour change and community empowerment that makes water access sustainable.
Since 2012, One Drop Foundation and the poker community have together raised more than $26 million, a collective world leader in charity poker, making a wide global impact for a sustainable future with safe water for all.
According to UNICEF and the World Health Organisation, 2.2 billion people globally lack safe water at home: 1 in 4 people. To date, One Drop Foundation has improved the living conditions of more than 3 million people around the world, and the work continues.
Guy Laliberté said: “One Drop Foundation is thrilled to partner with EPT and PokerStars to bring the cause of safe water to the poker table at the iconic Sporting Monte Carlo. Witnessing the poker community compete at the highest level for such a vital cause– access to clean water for all–is truly inspiring. We hope to see you there.”
Dan Colman was the champ in 2014, winning $15.3 million
Cédric Billot, Associate Director, PokerStars Live Events, said: “Poker has always had a strong culture of community, and partnering with One Drop allows us to channel that spirit into supporting an incredibly important cause. The €100,000 High Roller at EPT Monte Carlo attracts some of the best players in the world, and we’re excited that this year it will also contribute to supporting global water access and help drive a meaningful impact.”

The partnership also forms part of PokerStars’ wider sustainability and social impact commitments as part of Flutter. In 2022, Flutter launched its ‘Do More’ campaign, as part of its Positive Impact Plan, to support the communities where the company’s staff live, work and play.
At its core, Do More is about mobilising the collective energy of Flutter’s people, partners and communities to create lasting, meaningful change.
