How to qualify for the Sunday Million Anniversary (without breaking the bank)

With $5 million in the prize pool, more daily Phase 1 heats than you’ll have hot dinners, and players able to reach the final Phase 2 all summer long, there can be no doubt:
The Sunday Million Anniversary 20 is the most unmissable tournament of the year.
Quite literally. It’s hard to miss because you can play daily $109 heats (Phase 1s) again and again until you make it through, and multiple heats run every day on PokerStars.
There are also multiple ways you can secure a seat in a $109 Phase 1 without needing to buy in directly.
Let’s go through them so you know all the routes available to you to find your path to glory.
DIRECT SATELLITES
Every $109 Phase 1 (and there are multiple running daily) has at least three direct satellites:
- $5.50 buy-in, 10 seats guaranteed
- $11 buy-in, 15 seats guaranteed
- $22 buy-in, 5 seats guaranteed
Naturally, the $5.50 satellites will have more players than the $22, but for just a quarter of the price, you can have four shots at booking a seat.
If $5.50 is too big for your bankroll, don’t fret.
Feeder satellites to the direct satellites are also running for every direct satellite:
- $0.55 buy-in, 15 seats guaranteed to the $5.50
- $1.50 buy-in, 20 seats guaranteed to the $11
- $2.20 buy-in, 10 seats guaranteed to the $22
SPIN & GO’S
