STARTON (5) has been fair in his last couple of starts and is nicely placed in this. Both of his wins on this track have been over this trip, and he only needs the right run to be hard to hold out in this. SQUARE CUT (3) is a very consistent type who does not win often but is always trying his best. He slides down in class from his last run and is overdue for his next win. BOY BIG (4) built his form nicely before recording a well-deserved win here nearly a fortnight ago. He has raced well in this stronger grade in the past and will still be on the up with his fitness. The pole position will help, and he can double the dose. CHIEF WHITE SOCK (6) worked hard all the way here 4 weeks ago and stuck to his task gamely, finishing third and half a length from the winner. He should again be among the hardest to beat.
