BLUE WILLOW (2) was only eased into the race late first up when making up good ground. Despite another drift-back draw shapes up as a major contender this time. LUNAITE (5) held off all but one first up and that race has thrown up a city maiden winner since. Wide draw the only knock second up. SKETCH (12) wasn’t beaten far in a strong race on debut and gets a soft draw to play with. A senior rider steers her into each-way territory. HABERFIELD (4) will be big odds but showed potential in her debut campaign. Wet track brings her into it.
