GERALDINE'S WISH (5) ran some good races last prep and ended her campaign with a solid effort for second here earlier in the season. She has been given a decent spell and will be a lot stronger this year. She has not been seen at any public trials, and if she doesn't need the run, she can have a say in the outcome of this contest. WEATHER (3) set the pace here fresh up and only weakened late, finishing fourth. He strips fitter and though he has copped a nasty gate, he can still cross early, and be hard to peg back again. LUVTOKNOW (6) is heading the right way with her form and was only claimed late after setting the pace at Beaudesert 8 days ago, finishing second by a head. The winkers go on, and she can go one better. SPRUCE (7) needed her first run back from a spell on a heavy track here just over 5 weeks ago and can improve second up with the aid of a 3kg claim. She has some ability and can pick up a win at short notice.
